01These terms
These terms apply when you visit foldout.so, buy a Foldout licence or use Foldout, the macOS application. By doing any of these you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Foldout.
In these terms, Foldout, we and us mean the publisher of the Foldout software and of foldout.so. You can write to us at support@foldout.so.
02Who sells Foldout
Foldout publishes the software. Licences are sold by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem is operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, a company registered in Estonia.
The sale is a contract between you and Creem, and Creem's Buyer Terms govern it. Creem takes your payment, calculates, collects and remits any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt.
Prices on foldout.so are in USD. The checkout shows the subtotal and any tax that applies to your billing address, then the total you pay.
03Your licence
What you receive when you pay is a licence to use Foldout, not ownership of the software. It does not expire, and it includes every update and ongoing maintenance, for life. The Licence page sets out the editions, the activations and what you may and may not do.
04Refunds
Yes. Within 14 days of purchase, you get a full refund. Ask from the receipt in your purchase email; Creem, our merchant of record, processes it. After that, purchases are final. The Refund page says how to ask and what happens to your licence.
05Using Foldout
Foldout works on your behalf, with the accounts, subscriptions and credentials you connect to it. You are responsible for them and for what you do with Foldout.
- You must have the right to use the accounts, data and content you connect.
- You must follow the terms of the services you connect, such as your AI providers and the networks you publish on.
- You must not use Foldout to break the law, to send spam or to infringe someone else's rights.
- You must not try to disrupt foldout.so or the licence service.
06AI and your review
Foldout uses AI models through the accounts you connect. AI can be wrong. Review what Foldout drafts before it is published or sent, and approve the actions that matter. Playbooks stop for your approval where you set an approval gate.
07Third-party services
Foldout connects to services you choose, including AI providers, social networks, ad platforms and data sources. They are not ours. Their availability, their terms and their prices are theirs, and Foldout is not responsible for them.
08Ownership
Foldout, its software, its name, its mark and its website belong to us or to our licensors. Your licence gives you a right to use the software and no other right to it. What you create with Foldout, and the data you bring to it, stay yours.
09Availability and support
We work to keep foldout.so and the licence service available, but we cannot promise they will never be interrupted. Support is by email at support@foldout.so. The software changes over time: the lifetime licence covers Foldout as it evolves, not any single feature forever.
10Suspending a licence
We may suspend or revoke a licence that is used against these terms, for example a key shared beyond its activations, or one whose payment has been refunded or reversed. When we can, we tell you why by email.
11Liability
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, Foldout is provided as it is and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost data. Back up what matters to you.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. A change that takes away a right of a licence you have already bought does not apply to that licence without your agreement.
13Law and disputes
Your purchase is governed by Creem's Buyer Terms, under the law of Estonia. Where you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply, and nothing here removes them.
If something goes wrong, write to us first. We will answer and try to settle it.
